- Finish the Ouji Overview
I know, I've been saying this for years. To be honest, I'm very bored with ouji style now, but so many people have told me my incomplete guide helped them so much. I will start what I finished! - Reorganize the blog
For awhile, I tried out Wordpress, but I'll be sticking with blogger for now. WP did have some cool features such as a picture gallery, but their image hosting limit is what made me sway away from it. Right now, I have most of my old posts reverted to drafts, so I can see which ones I want to keep and which to delete. - Take more pictures
I need to level up my photography! I get nostalgic looking at old LJ posts because there were a lot more reports and picture sharing. Nowadays event reports and candid pictures are seldom shared, so I want to start contributing more content. I didn't take very many coordinate pictures of myself this year since I hit a brick wall in posing and styling. Part of the reason is no time, so my day is always rushed, but hopefully I get better at time management. - Utilize social media
Ever since EGL died (R.I.P. I still check LJ everyday), the lolita community became very decentralized. It's kind of a pain honestly. Between tons of facebook groups, tumblr blogs, and instagram, it can be difficult to keep up with current events. I'm going to try to get better at crossposting across platforms. I did start a facebook page and youtube channel last month, but I'm not sure what I want to do with either lol. - More personal
I think I've been feeling disconnected with my blog because originally I wanted it to just be an informational blog. I think I want to post some more personal content on here, so I won't get bored.
Hopefully these goals will help me get back into blogging. I actually loathe writing, but it is a good outlet from the monotonous daily life. January is about 1/3 of the way over, and I still haven't started my annual wardrobe post, so I'm going to have to rush to finish it. I'll be posting it over on EGL and here this year, so wish me luck!
